Join me for a ONE DAY BOUQUET INTENSIVE on January 8 or 9, 2020, giving you the foundational tools and techniques to make lush, lightweight hand tied free form and cascading bouquets full of airy movement.
Do you struggle with designing wedding bouquets that have lush airy movement?
Do you stress out over bouquet making and often overwork them?
Do you tend to overstuff bouquets making them bulky and heavy?
Do you need an inspiring day of bouquet making to freshen up your techniques for the 2020 season?
Learn how to create TWO styles of hand tied bouquets; loose and airy free form bouquets and lush cascading teardrop bouquets full of movement.
This workshop will begin with an in depth presentation of my foundational bouquet making process where you will learn the core techniques to successful hand tied bouquets that are lightweight and full of movement. I will demonstrate step by step how to stay organized, profitable and efficient every time!
Key topics will also include how to choose inspiring ingredients, creating balanced color palettes and working with texture, line and form. The complete process including how to finish bouquets and ribbon them effectively as well as delivery tips will be demonstrated and discussed.
Each student will make two bouquets in each style; hand tied free form style and a hand tied cascade as well as a test bouquet to practice the foundational techniques. A small class size will allow for personal time with useful critiques and feedback offered to each student regarding their individual work.
Bouquets will be photographed for your use by a professional photographer and a light lunch will be provided.
